Promosapiens re-join forces with Sony in the Benelux

The EFMP’s Belgian partners, Promosapiens, recently won the coveted Sony Benelux contract. As a result they will be managing sales teams in all MediaMarkt electro-stores across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The Request for Proposal process was held during April and May, and despite many of the industry's big names being invited to pitch, Promosapiens were ultimately announced as the winners in June.

The Sony Benelux contract runs for 2 years, commencing from August this year, and Promosapiens began by organizing a fixed Team of 5 Regional Sales Activators and approximately 50 In-store Sales Promoters to drive sales of Sony TV’s, Mobile Headphones, (&) and Digital Imaging devices within MediaMarkt stores in the Benelux Market.

Promosapiens had to ‘win back’ the contract having previously held it 2 years ago. This made the victory all the sweeter.  Thanks to their tailor-made proposal to work with a dedicated Benelux Team, and  to implement a unique Retail Service Program, Sony were convinced that Promosapiens are in fact the right partner for them in the Benelux. The Promosapiens Retail Service Program, which ultimately convinced Sony to award them the contract, incorporates the following 6 dimensions;  People/Team/Training/Evangelism/and a WOW factor along with Systems.  

The activation launched in early August 2018, when high profile sales personnel travelled through the (3 countries to strategically assess sales potential. These personnel included Regional Sales Activators and In-store Sales Promoters.

Furthermore, in order to have knowledgeable, well trained ambassadors to work for them, Promosapiens setup and deployed a tailor-made e-learning training program, with a scoring system, to ensure that all parties are well educated and knowledgeable about Sony products.  A user friendly, responsive, web-based platform was set up and implemented (as well to enable Sony to monitor, in real time, the weekly planning meetings and the status of store visits, which include pictures and a dashboard. Through this process, Sony are also in a position to obtain instant reports showing KPI’s and budget follow-up.

Promosapiens are now firmly establishing themselves as a competent and credible partner for consumer electronic companies within the Benelux market. Positive news like this will assist greatly in winning more business and Promosapienss are justifiably confident about their place in the market.
