German Partners use SaleMate to drive efficiency in the field.


Our German partners HTW/O Promotion have been the preferred agency for Samsumg since 2015. After wining a competitive pitch again last year, HTW/O were eager to showcase to Samsung the value they could add as a trusted service provider. To this end the merchandising team sat down to discuss how they could drive efficiencies and improve the customer experience.

Inspired by a new Sales Force tool, called SaleMate, that they saw demonstrated by fellow EFMP Nordics Partner, WaveCrest, at a recent EFMP group meeting, HTW/O Promotion decided to engage Wavecrest about the potential of using SaleMate. 

After exploring the system in more detail and understandng the time savings and efficiency benefits, along with the built in facilitation of processes, HTW/O decided to  implement the SaleMate system. In the first quarter of this year, the team started to translate  the system from Danish to German. However, due to the pandemic and various lockdowns across both regions, the project had to be put on hold for a short while. In Spring the project was rekindled, and at  that time, the focus shifted to accomodate the Samsung Merchandising projects. In July, the first test group of 5 merchandisers started to put the system through its paces, and they have not looked back. 

 Currently all merchandisers are using the SaleMate system. Although the team are still using the previous tool, FieldForce, to secure all data,the objective is to switch over completely to SaleMate from November 2021.

SaleMate has a strong value proposition that can add a lot of value to current and furture projects, as it is a system which combines route planning, task management and reporting in one. The tool is popular with the project management team as well as with the merchandisers in the field. 

This is a  great example of  EFMP partners sharing knowledge, technology and expertise to deliver a superior field sales solution.
